Two charged with drug offences following traffic stop

On March 10, 2020 officers with Patrol Services and Investigation Services arrested 40-year-old Jennifer Lipinski and 25-year-old Jesse McKeachnie for drug offences.

At 12 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle Mr. McKeachnie was driving as the license plate attached was found not to belong to that vehicle. Ms. Lipinski and 33-year-old Tyler Seaton were passengers in the vehicle. At that time Mr. Seaton attempted to flee the area but he was detained and arrested by police.

A subsequent search of the vehicle found a variety of substances believed to be narcotics. Among the items found were 31 grams of cocaine, .81 ml of liquid cocaine in a syringe, 5.2 grams of fentanyl, 70 pills of ecstasy, and 5.8 grams of methamphetamine. The total estimated street value of the narcotics seized is $6,460.

Ms. Lipinski is charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property and breach of probation. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 20, 2020.

Mr. McKeachnie is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, possession of break in tools and driving while suspended. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 20, 2020.

Mr. Seaton is charged with breach of recognizance. He was held for bail court.
