A late afternoon two vehicle collision resulted in injuries to at least one person, serious damage to both vehicles, and damage to a garden at 421 Bay Street, the Station Tower.
The collision occurred at 3:37 p.m. on Saturday at the corner of Elgin and Bay Streets and left one vehicle well into the yard in front of the TD Canada Trust in the Station Tower.
"Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene and an ambulance was called to attend," reported Sergeant Dave Bascomb of Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
One person was taken to hospital with unspecified injuries, he said.
