Two people were charged yesterday morning for stealing a vehicle from a North Street address.

Someone phoned 911 at around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday to report a vehicle stolen from the 400 block of North Street.

Sault Police say officers found the vehicle, with two occupants, in a parking lot in the 0-100 block of Foster Drive.

Alicia Mancino, 27, and Randy Ingram, 31, are charged with motor vehicle theft, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, as well as failing to comply with probation orders.

Both are being held in custody pending bail hearings.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and both accused are considered innocent unless proven guilty.
