Two people face charges after police responded to a call about a break and enter Wednesday morning on McNabb Street.
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service says at around 8:15 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a break-in in the 800 block of McNabb.
Officers were dispatched to the scene and upon arrival, located two people inside a gated private property.
The pair was arrested. Further investigation revealed the accused had also entered a travel trailer on the property.
Both accused are charged with break and enter, police said in a news release.
Cecil Cuthbertson, 50, was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Trina McPherson, 48, was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court May 12.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused are considered innocent unless proven guilty.
