On September 30 police were called to a west end residence in regards to a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that the male assaulted the female, caused damage to her property threatened her. As a result the 26 year old male was charged with assault  x 2, mischief under $5000 and threatening. He will be appearing in bail court on October 1.

A 50 year old male attended at the police station where he was arrested on dated charges of attempt rape and indecent assault on a female. The charges stem from 1981 when the male was considered a young offender. The victim and the accused are also known to each other. He will be appearing in bail court on October 1.

Yesterday morning a break and enter was reported to a home on Pim Street. Sometime between the evening hours of Friday, September 26 and the evening hours of Saturday, September 27, a home in the 100 block of Pim Street was entered. Items taken include a china plate setting, a mix master, a cherry oak flip table and a programmable thermostat.

Last evening officers from Patrol Services on routine patrol located and arrested 23-year-old Andrew Petts of Grace Street for one count of robbery and two counts of breach of a prohibition order in relation to firearms. It is alleged that on the 25th of September the accused robbed an adult female of a small quantity of money and drugs. The accused and victim are known to each other. It is further alleged that the accused was in possession of a firearm at the time of the robbery. The accused is on two court orders which prohibited him from possessing any firearms. The accused will appear in bail court this morning.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested by city police yesterday afternoon and charged with four counts of threatening. It is alleged that on 4 different occasions in the month of September she contacted her ex-husband by telephone, and on each occasion made threatening comments to him. She will be appearing in Provincial Court on November 5.
