SUSPECT CHARGED WITH STEALING FURNITURE On Tuesday, September 3, the landlord of a residence that he rented furnished, checked his rental property after a tenant moved out and found that most of the furnishing had been removed.

On Tuesday, September 3, the landlord of a residence that he rented furnished, checked his rental property after a tenant moved out and found that most of the furnishing had been removed. The landlord contacted the police service and an investigation was started. Yesterday at 5:45 pm, officers arrested and charged Richard Maki, age 38, of Unit 60-1001 Second Line West with theft under $5,000.00 and breach of undertaking. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 7th.


MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
Following a domestic dispute on Saturday, September 7th, patrol officers arrested and charged a 24-year-old male with assault, yesterday. In the early evening of September 7th, the male began an argument with the 20-year-old female victim. The male suspect became very agitated and grabbed the female victim, who was seated on a bicycle, and began shaking her. The female received bruising to her arm and legs. The male is scheduled to appear in court Oct 21st.
