On October 7, 2014 at approximately 11:30am an adult female attended the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service building to turn herself in on outstanding warrants.
On October 7, 2014 at approximately 11:30am an adult female attended the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service building to turn herself in on outstanding warrants.  The warrants stem from a domestic incident and include the accused failing to attend court and breaching conditions of her release documents.  She will be appearing in court November 19, 2014.

Vehicles were entered overnight in the area of Amber Street and Palace Drive.  A GPS, Ipod and money was reported stolen from the vehicles.

On October 6, 2014 at 3:30 p.m., patrol officers arrested and charged Justin Lepage, age 18 and Shelly Lepage, age 44 both of Douglas Street, Sault Ste. Marie with theft under $5,000. It is alleged that they stole items from the Metro in the Market Mall. They will appear in court on November 10.

At 1:30 p.m. on October 6, 2014, patrol officers arrested and charged a 40-year-old male with two counts of Threatening Death, Unlawfully in a Dwelling House and two counts of Assault. It is alleged that in February or March of this year the male assaulted and threatened to kill his spouse. And in September of this year the male again threatened to harm his spouse. Further in September of 2013 the male illegally entered a residence where his spouse was and assaulted her. The victim received minor injuries in both assaults. He will appear in bail court on October 7.

On October 6, 2014 at 2 p.m., Paul Thompson, age 27 of no fixed address, is alleged to have assaulted an adult male in the parking lot of the Market Mall at 275 Second Line West, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Thompson also threatened to kill the male victim. Thompson then assaulted an adult female. A second accused, Amara Gonzales, age 26 of no fixed address, is alleged to have also assaulted the male victim. Gonzales then stole keys from the victim and stabbed him. Gonzales is alleged to have attempted to murder the female victim by trying to stab her. Thompson and Gonzales then fled the area on foot. Patrol officers located the pair a short distance from the Market Mall. Both accused attempted to obstruct the officers during their arrests by providing false names. Thompson has been charged with two counts of Assault, Threatening to Cause Death or Bodily Harm, Obstructing a Peace Officer and two counts of Breach of Probation.  Gonzales has been charged with Attempt Murder, Aggravated Assault, Assault, Threatening Death or Bodily Harm, Robbery, Obstructing a Peace Officer and Breach of Undertaking. The male victim required medical treatment for his injuries, while the female received minor injuries. Both Thompson and Gonzales will appear in bail court on October 7.
