On November 2 officers from Investigation Services arrested and charged a 20-year-old male with numerous charges in relation to domestic violence against an ex-girlfriend. The allegations span over a period of time between June of 2014 and October of 2015. The male has been charged with four counts of assault, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of assault causing bodily harm, four counts of sexual assault, one count of mischief and one count of threatening. The accused will appear in bail court this morning.
Yesterday afternoon officers from Investigation Services arrested and charged an 18-year-old male with one count of sexual assault. It is alleged that the accused sexually assaulted another male known to him in October. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim. The accused will appear in court on November 30.
Sometime between November 1 and 2 a residence in the 500 block of Wellington Street West was broken into. An X-box and a PlayStation were taken.
