YOUTH ARRESTED FOR STEALING VAN On November 10, in the early morning hours, a 16-year-old male stole a 1997 Plymouth Voyager from a home on Connaught Street. The young offender was driving the vehicle in the west end of city.
YOUTH ARRESTED FOR STEALING VAN
On November 10, in the early morning hours, a 16-year-old male stole a 1997 Plymouth Voyager from a home on Connaught Street. The young offender was driving the vehicle in the west end of city.

The youth removed the stereo from the van and left it on Metzger Street with a flat tire. Patrol officers recovered the van and began their investigation. Police officers located the accused at a home on Letcher Street. The youth was arrested for theft over $5000.00 and possession of stolen property. He is scheduled to appear in court in mid December.


BREACH OF PROBATION
On November 9, a 16-year-old male failed to return home by 11:00 pm therefore breaching his probation order. The Police Service was contacted and notified of the incident.

On November 10, the accused went to the Police Services Building where he was arrested and charged with Breach of Probation under the Young Offenders Act. He was released form custody and is scheduled to appear in court in mid December.
