Female Charged with Assault

A 40-year old female was arrested yesterday morning on outstanding warrants in relation to a domestic dispute that occurred on April 30th. It is alleged that on April 30th, in the early morning hours, the accused assaulted her boyfriend by punching and kicking the victim while at an east end residence. The victim did not require medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries. The accused has been charged with one count of assault and will appear in court on June 8th.


Breach of Release

A 16-year old youth was arrested last evening for breach of a release order after it was alleged that the accused failed to notify a change of address. The accused was on a release document with the conditions to notify change of address. The youth has been charged with one count of breach of a release order and will appear in court on June 7th.

Break and Enter

City Police received 2 reports of break and enters yesterday. A home in the 100 block of Grace Street was entered and thieves stole some alcohol. The break in occurred in the afternoon hours. A home in the 100 block of Sunnydale Road was entered and a X-box game, a ghetto blaster and a remote control were stolen.
