On May 25, 2015 at 5 p.m., city police attended in the area of Goulais Avenue and Second Line West regarding a break and enter to a residence. Mark Edward Strain, 31 years old of Second Line West, was arrested and charged with break and enter and commit theft, assault police with intent to resist arrest and breach of probation. Mr. Strain will be appearing in Bail Court on May 26, 2015.
On May 25, 2015 at 3:55 p.m., city police arrested and charged a 19-year-old male in relation to numerous domestic related offences on his female partner. Investigation revealed that between November 2013 to the present, the victim was allegedly sexually assaulted, assaulted, forcibly confined, threatened with death, had her property damaged and her pets injured. The accused was charged with 21 offences and will be appearing in Bail Court on May 26, 2015.
On May 25, 2015 at 9:50 p.m., city police arrested and charged a 47-year-old male in relation to a domestic occurrence. It is alleged that the accused attended at a residence in the central part of the city in contravention of two probation orders. Accordingly, he was charged with breach of probation. He will be appearing in Bail Court on May 26, 2015.
On May 26, 2015 at 1:25 a.m., city police attended at a disturbance in the downtown area. Investigation revealed that a 36-year-old male had assaulted a female. This victim was in the company of another female that the accused was on a probation order not to communicate with relating to a domestic matter. He was charged with assault and breach of probation and will be appearing in Bail Court on May 26, 2015.
