On May 19, 2015 a 41 year old female turned herself in at the City Police station regarding an outstanding domestic violence warrant. The charges are mischief and breach of probation X 3.

On May 19, 2015 a 41 year old female turned herself in at the City Police station regarding an outstanding domestic violence warrant.  The charges are mischief and breach of probation X 3.  The accused will appear in bail court on May 19, 2015 at 10:00 am.

On the 15th of May a break and enter was reported to a residence on Killarney Road. The break in occurred during the daytime hours. Cash and a laptop computer were taken.

On the 16th of May a resident in the 700 block of Fourth Line East reported an attempt break and enter to their garage. The attempt to break in occurred overnight.

On the 17th of May Lento’s Storage on Great Northern Road reported several travel trailers had been broken into over the last few days. One trailer had a screen damaged and entry was gained but nothing appeared taken from that trailer. A window on a second trailer was damaged but nothing was taken. A rear window was broken on a third trailer but nothing appeared to be missing. A fourth trailer was entered and flat screen television and a stereo were taken.

On the 17th of May city police attended on St. Patrick Street for a break and enter to a home. Once inside thieves ransacked the residence by emptying drawers and closets, damaging electronics and discarding food items. It is unknown at this time what was taken. The break and enter occurred sometime between May 15 and 17.

On the 17th of May a homeowner on Fourth Line East reported a break and enter to the garage. Nothing was taken.

Sometime between May 13 and May 18, a residence on Poplar Avenue was broken into. A black Toshiba laptop with a 15.6 inch screen, a WII game, a Play Station, jewellery consisting of rings and necklaces as well as several pairs of ladies shoes were taken.

On the 16th of May a male entered the Primavera Restaurant during the daytime hours while staff was working in the restaurant. A male suspect entered the restaurant and entered the office area and removed an undisclosed amount of money as well as a gold watch. A second male was in the restaurant at the back door and waved to the first suspect to leave. Both male suspects were dressed in black. The male that had been in the office had a mask or toque covering his face. The male at the back door had his face covered with a hoodie. A female employee discovered the theft as the male was leaving the office area. It is believed that alcohol was also taken. The employee was not harmed.

On the 16th of May a homeowner on Fourth Line East reported the theft of a Yamaha Kodiak 2001 red in colour. The four wheeler was taken from the back yard.

On May 18, 2015, at 7 p.m., Sault Ste Marie police officers attend a central residence for a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that a 21-year-old female had smashed dishes and flower pots while arguing with her common law spouse. The accused was arrest and charged with one count of mischief under $5,000. The accused will appear in court on June 24.
