46 year old Michelle Collins of Borron Ave. was arrested by members of the City Police Crime Suppression Unit on March 31st on 5 outstanding warrants. It is alleged that she failed to attend Court on 3 separate occasions between January and March of this year. She also failed to appear for fingerprints and also breached a condition of a probation order requiring her to report for an appointment. She will be appearing in Bail Court on April 1st.
On March 30, 2015, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated a dated domestic sexual assault complaint. Officers learned that a female had been sexually assaulted by her 34-year-old boyfriend. The assault consisted of the accused attempting to have nonconsensual sexual contact with the victim. The victim did not require any medical attention. The accused has been charged with one count of sexual assault. The accused will appear in bail court on March 31.
