TWO BREAK AND ENTERS YESTERDAY City Police Service is investigating two break and enters that took place yesterday. The first was to a residence in the 100 block of Prentice Avenue. Entry was gained by breaking a basement window.

City Police Service is investigating two break and enters that took place yesterday. The first was to a residence in the 100 block of Prentice Avenue. Entry was gained by breaking a basement window. A quantity of firearms was stolen. The investigation continues.

The second entry was to a business in the 600 block of Queen Street East. Entry was gained by damaging a lock. At this time it does not appear anything was taken.

POLICE ARREST MAN FOR THREATENING WOMAN
Yesterday afternoon at 1:20, police arrested Lionel Taylor, age 21, of 38 Crystal Place. He is alleged to have committed several offences against a 20-year-old female. He is charged with assault, assault with a weapon, threatening and mischief.

LOTS OF ACCIDENTS YESTERDAY
City police were kept busy yesterday investigating 23 accidents. There were no serious injuries.
