Three accused to appear in bail court: 1) Yesterday evening at approx. 7:15 pm a male attended at the city police station and turned himself in on an outstanding warrant. The accused, a 37-year-old male was wanted for harassment and sexual assault.
Three accused to appear in bail court:

1) Yesterday evening at approx. 7:15 pm a male attended at the city police station and turned himself in on an outstanding warrant. The accused, a 37-year-old male was wanted for harassment and sexual assault. It is alleged that on Thursday March 5th the accused attended at the residence of his common-law partner and forced her to have intercourse with him. It is further alleged that on March 9th the accused harassed the victim by calling her numerous times while she was at a relative’s residence. The accused is charged with one count of harassment and one count of sexual assault.

2) Yesterday morning city police arrested a male on a warrant, for failing to attend for identification. It is alleged that the accused failed to attend at the city police station on February 24th for fingerprinting. It is further alleged that at the time of his arrest the accused resisted the arresting officers. Michael Debello, age 26, of 35 Grace St. is charged with one count of fail to appear for identification and one count of resist arrest.

3) Yesterday afternoon at approx. 12:20 pm city police attended at the Raw Clothing Store in the Station Mall regarding a female shoplifter. It is alleged that the accused, Loretta Carey, age 28, of 1674 Wellington St. E, Apt # 6, stole approx. $ 98.00 worth of lady’s clothing. It is further alleged that at the time of her arrest the accused assaulted the two store employees that were attempting to arrest her. The employees suffered minor injuries and did not require medical attention. The accused is charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000.00 and two counts of assault.

Female arrested for theft:

Yesterday afternoon a 19-year-old female attended at the city police station and turned herself in on a warrant for theft under $ 5,000.00. It is alleged that during the month of February, while living at a friend’s apartment the accused stole a quantity of DVDs, valued at approx. $ 90.00, from the friend. Charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000.00 is Emily Nethery, age 19 of 123 Marconi St. She will be appearing in court on April 27th at 9:00 am.

A window was broken at a residence in the 500 block of John St.

Thefts:

A cell phone was stolen from an office in the 500 block of Queen St. E.
A purse was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Caesar Rd.
Two vehicles were entered in the 100 block of Retta St. CDs and personal items were taken.
A vehicle was entered in the 100 block of Lake St. – it is unknown what was taken at this time.
