On June 9, 2015 at 2:30 a.m., city police officers arrested a 21-year-old male for domestic related assault. It’s alleged that the accused assaulted his girlfriend by slapping her.

On June 9, 2015 at 2:30 a.m., city police officers arrested a 21-year-old male for domestic related assault. It’s alleged that the accused assaulted his girlfriend by slapping her. The accused was charged with one count of assault and will appear in bail court this morning.

On June 8, 2015 officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service attended at William Merrifield School on Patrick Street for break and enter. It is believed that the break and enter occurred on the 6th of June in the early morning hours. A Dell Latitude E5530 laptop was taken.

On June 6, at approximately 10:30 p.m. a homeowner on John Street reported a break and enter to their shed. It is unknown at this time what was taken.

On June 8, 2015, city police detectives attended at the Algoma Remand Centre and arrested a 50-year-old male for break and enter. It’s alleged that between February 13 and 15, 2015 the accused broke into Wolseley Mechanical on White Oak drive and stole copper wire valued between $800 and $2,000. He will be making an appearance in Bail Court on June 9, 2015

On June 8, 2015 city police arrested a 19-year-old male on domestic related incidents. It’s alleged that on the 17th May 2015 the accused confined his girlfriend in a closet at a residence. On June 8, 2015 the accused threatened to damage property belonging to the female victim. The accused will be making an appearance in Bail Court on June 09, 2015.

On June 8, 2015 at 11:10 p.m., city police officers arrested a 51-year-old female in relation to breaching her recognizance that was a result of a domestic related occurrence. Officers attended the accused’s residence and found that she was not home in contravention of a curfew imposed by the Courts. The accused was charged with Breach of a Recognizance and will be making an appearance in Bail Court on June 9, 2015 at 10 a.m.
