Arrests/Charged Persons:
On June 17, 2013, two individuals entered Sears at 293 Bay Street. It is alleged that the accused Keyleigh Anne Downey age 20, of 196 James Street, Apt. # 11 selected 2 box sets of cologne and put them into a bag carried by co-accused Gordon Robert Petts, age 52, of 26 Albert Street East. The two exited the store and were apprehended by security. Police attended and charged Gordon Petts with theft under $5000. Downey was charged with theft under and breach of probation. The two are scheduled to attend court on July 22, 2013 at 9:00 am.

On May 22, 2013 the accused Shannon Catherine Edwards age 42 of 819 Trunk Road, Apt. #303, was at the Metro grocery store on Northern Avenue. It is alleged that the accused selected several items and placed them in a grocery bag and exited the store without paying. The accused was arrested on June 17, 2013 and will appear in court on July 22, 2013 at 9:00 am.
