On July 6, 2015, city police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Melrose Avenue. On attending officers found that two vehicles had collided causing one vehicle to leave the roadway and collide with a residence.

On July 6, 2015, city police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Melrose Avenue. On attending officers found that two vehicles had collided causing one vehicle to leave the roadway and collide with a residence. A check of an involved driver was done and it was found that the driver of that vehicle was a prohibited driver under the criminal code. The accused Gary Chad Barkley, age 43, was arrested and charged with driving while prohibited and will appear in court on July 27, 2015 at 9 a.m. No significant injuries were reported.

On July 6, 2015 at 5:50 p.m., city police arrested a male age 36 in the area of McNabb Street. The accused had an outstanding warrant as a result of domestic matters. The accused was arrested for breach of probation X 4 and will appear in bail court on July 7, 2015 at 10 a.m.

On July 6, 2015 a male age 24 was arrested for domestic matters. City police arrested the accused for breach of recognizance, threatening death or bodily harm, obstruct justice and extortion. The charges date back to September 2014 to July 2015. The accused will appear in bail court on July 7, 2015 at 10 a.m.
