Arrests/Charged Persons:
A 50 year old male was arrested by City Police for Domestic Mischief and Threatening from an incident which occurred on the 2nd of July. It is alleged that the accused burned some of the victim’s clothes as well as uttering threats to kill both the complainant and another person. The male will appear in Bail Court on July 4th.
Break and Enters/Other Property Crimes:
City Police attended to 2 Break and Enters which occurred overnight throughout the City.
$2000.00 in change was stolen from one break in where thieves entered through a back window of a residence.
In the other occurrence a male entered through an unlocked back patio door and stole $10.00 off of a nearby table and then fled the residence.
A Mercury outboard motor was stolen from a boat in the northwest end of the City.
The boat was chained to a tree.
