In the past twenty-four hours, police were called to investigate 5 break and enters. Break-ins to businesses occurred in the 100 block of March Street, the 100 block of Second Line West, the 200 block of Great Northern Road and an attempted entry to a business in the 200 block of Wilson Street. One business reported a small amount of cash taken. There are no details from the other premises.

Yesterday morning at 7:55, police were called to O'Aces Restaurant at 8 Queen Street East where they found a male intruder inside. Daniel Sutherland, age 36, of 124 Gore Street was charged with break and enter. He was released from the police station at 12:10 p.m. on an undertaking.

Yesterday evening at 10:45, Daniel Sutherland was once again arrested for break and enter. This time he was found inside a church on MacDonald Avenue. Mr. Sutherland resisted officers during his arrest. He is charged with two counts of break and enter, resisting arrest, possession of house-breaking tools, and mischief.
