On July 14, 2014 at approximately 4:25 p.m., city police responded to the area of Wellington Street East between Spring Street and March Street regarding a male pointing a handgun at passing traffic. It is alleged that the male then concealed the handgun in the waist band of his pants and under his sweater. Police located the male in the 400 block of Wellington Street East. Police located a handgun on the accused. The handgun turned out to be a Beretta BB gun. The accused Jordan Earl Corbett, age 18 of Church Street, was arrested for weapons dangerous, pointing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, using an imitation firearm in the commission of an indictable offence and breach of probation X 2. The accused will appear in bail court on July 15, 2014 at 10 a.m.
On July 14, 2014 officers attended in the 200 block of Spruce Street to check on a male that was reported to have outstanding warrants. On attending found the accused Ronald Hynds, age 25 of Spruce Street ,at the residence. The accused was arrested for threatening and breach of probation. The warrant dated back to February of 2014. The accused will appear in bail court on July 15, 2014 at 10 a.m.
