Male Charged with Assault
A 31-year old male will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested just before 9 pm last evening. It is alleged that the male attended at his ex-wife’s east end residence and assaulted her by pushed her. The victim received minor injuries that did not require medical treatment. The accused has been charged with one count of assault.
Female Assaults Boyfriend
A 31-year old female was charged with assault last evening around 10:30 pm. It is alleged that the accused slapped her boyfriend in the face. The assault occurred in an east end residence. The female has been charged with one count of assault and will appear in court on March 1st.
Failure to Appear for Fingerprints
43-year old Gerard Taylor of 106-94 Allard Street was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for one count of failing to appear for fingerprints. He was released and will appear in court on February 27th.
2 Males Charged with Operating Motor Vehicles While Disqualified
Yesterday afternoon just before 2:30 pm City Police arrested 18-year old Norman Lund of 364 Douglas Street and charged him with one count of operate motor vehicle while disqualified-court order. It is alleged on January 22nd the accused was operating a snow machine while prohibited. The accused will appear in court on February 27th.
Around 2:40 pm City Police again arrested 18-year old Norman Lund of 364 Douglas Street and charged him with another count of operate motor vehicle while disqualified-court order. It is alleged that officers observed the accused operating a car in the City’s west end. The accused was stopped and charged with the driving offence. He will appear in court on February 27th.
Break and Enters
Just before 9 am yesterday morning City Police attended at Telus located at 341 Truck Road. Thieves removed a Dell laptop computer from the building.
Between 11 pm on the 22nd of January and 5:30 pm on the 23rd of January thieves broke into a residence in the 100 block of The Drive. Property taken included an X-Box, games and a small quantity of money.
