Safety Precautions
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has received a few calls in regards to persons crossing the St. Mary’s River on foot. Although we recently had a cold spell, citizens and snowmobilers are advised to use extreme caution when crossing our local lakes and rivers as the ice may not be thick enough to support much weight.
