On February 23, 2016 City Police executed a search warrant at 135 Gore Street apartment #1. On entering a quantity of cocaine was located. During the search it is alleged that a prohibited weapon was found on one of the accused. Further checks were done on all of the individuals found at the apartment and it was found that all were on release conditions from previous arrests.
Charged is Cindy Marie Morissette age 37, the charges as follows: one count of possession of a controlled substance and three counts of breach of probation. The breaches include the following charges: keep the peace and be of good behavior, a curfew to be in her place of residence between the hours of 11 pm and 6 am and not to possess any unlawful drugs or substances. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on April 4, 2016 at 9:00 am.
Charged is Kristi Patricia Violet Merola age 33, the charges as follows: one count of possession of a controlled substance and three counts of breach of recognizance. The breaches include the following charges: the accused was not to communicate in any way with Patrick Service, not to possess or consume any unlawful drugs and to reside at the state address. The accused appeared in bail court on February 23, 2016 at 10:00 am.
Charged is Shawn William Simpson age 44, the charges as follows: one count of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a prohibited weapon (flick knife), breach of a weapons prohibition and breach of recognizance with a condition not to possess or consume any controlled substance except with a valid prescription. The accused appeared in bail court on February 23, 2016 at 10:00 am.
Charged is Patrick Alfred Service age 42, the charges as follows: one count of possession of a controlled substance and three counts of breach of recognizance. The breaches include the following charges: the accused was not to communicate in any way with Krista Merola, reside at the address as stated in the release document and a curfew to be in his residence between the hours of 9 pm and 7 am. The accused appeared in bail court on February 23, 2016 at 10:00 am.
On the 23 February 2016 at approximately 11:30 AM a Toyota Camry driven by Horold Salmonen (age 68) stuck a parked car on Gore St. Salmonen subsequently drove away from the scene. His vehicle sustained damage preventing it from being driven any further than North St at Wellington St West. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Mr. Salmonen was charged with failing to provide a breath sample, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident. He will be appearing in court on the 4th April 2016 to answer to the charges.
