On Monday, December 1, 2014 officers attended at the Station Mall, 293 Bay Street regarding a shoplifter who had been arrested by security and held for police.

On Monday, December 1, 2014 officers attended at the Station Mall, 293 Bay Street regarding a shoplifter who had been arrested by security and held for police. Upon her arrest the accused was found in possession of various clothing items from four stores in the mall that she had not paid for. Total value of the goods was $549. Veronica Collins, age 46 of Borron Avenue, has been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime and will appear in court on January 5, 2015.

Also on Monday the owner of a compound on Dundas Street learned that several of his vehicles including trailers and trucks had been damaged at some point through the weekend. Unknown persons entered a fenced area, broke windows and slashed the tires on several vehicles. Investigation by officers is continuing.
