DRUG BUST
Yesterday at 1:38 pm, police officers with the Joint Forces Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Elliot Road. Upon searching the residence, they located 2 bags of marihuana, a blank pill bottle with Flexocal pills, a pill bottle with traces of cocaine, a stolen police duty bag, a Ministry of Natural Resources beacon locator, a hand held GPS unit, a Criminal Code book, a Provincial Offences Book, and unsafely stored 40 calibre peace officer grade ammunition.

Arrested in the residence and charged with Unsafe Storage of Ammunition, four counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug and Possession of Stolen Property was Christopher Cain age 28 of 76 Elliot Road. He will appear in court January 13th.

The recovered property in this incident related to the forced entry to the Ministry of Natural Resources parking lot at Church St. on May 8th, 2002. Thieves cut a hole in the fence to gain entry to the parking compound. Once inside the yard they forced entry into a vehicle, steali
