Four persons to appear in bail court today :

1) On Saturday Aug 1st city police arrested a 50-year-old male and charged him one count of assault and one count of threatening. It is alleged that on July 26th the accused male assaulted and threatened his ex-common-law partner.

2) On Sunday Aug. 2nd City police arrested Jeffrey Mayhew, age 38, of 519 John St. and charged him with one count of robbery, one count of possession of a weapon dangerous and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on July 27th the accused approached a male known to him and robbed him of a quantity of money. It is alleged that at the time of the offence the accused, who was on probation, held a knife to the victim and demanded money.

3) On Sunday Aug 2nd at approx. 3:30 am city police arrested Eric Shaule, age 20, of 574 Placid Ave and charged him with one count of break and enter and one count of possession of a substance. It is alleged that at approx 3:30 am the accused broke into a residence in the 100 block of Marconi St. It is further alleged that the accused had a small quantity of marihuana on his person at the time of his arrest.

4) On Monday Aug 3rd city police arrested Jessie Roach, age 18, of 859 Trunk Rd and charged him with four counts of mischief and five counts of possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that between the 2nd and 3rd of Aug the accused damaged several homes and vehicles in the east end of the city. It is further alleged that the accused had in his possession items that were reported stolen from vehicles.

Property Crimes:

Break and enters:

A residence in the 100 block of Chambers Ave was entered- electronic items were taken.
At approx. 3:30 am Monday Aug 3rd an unknown male broke into a residence in the 100 block of Grace St. The suspect was frightened off by residents. The home owner
Garages in the 100 block of Eastern Ave (Unknown what was taken) and the 100 block of Glenwood Ave.
(Beer stolen) were entered.

Mischief:

Residences in the following locations were damaged:
The 100 block of Idaho Dr.
The 100 block of Florwin Dr.
The 100 block of Heath Rd.
The 100 block of Market St.
The 1200 block of Old Garden River Rd.
Vehicles were damaged in the following locations:
The 400 block of Great Northern Rd,
The 100 block of Albert St. W.
The 200 and 700 blocks of Bay St.
The 800 block of Wellington St. E.
The 100 block of The Drive.
The Finnish Pentecostal Church located at 891 Peoples Rd. had several windows damaged over the weekend.

Theft:

A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Palomino Dr.
A lawnmower was reported stolen from the 500 block of Goulais Ave.
Tools were reported stolen from the 1600 block of Trunk Rd.
