Robbery at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy: Investigation Services are currently investigating a robbery that occurred at 1:41 pm yesterday at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy located at 955 Queen Street East.
Robbery at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy:

Investigation Services are currently investigating a robbery that occurred at 1:41 pm yesterday at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy located at 955 Queen Street East. A lone male entered the pharmacy, produced a note demanding oxycontin and indicating that he was in possession of a gun. The male fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of oxycontin. City Police, with assistance from the OPP Canine Unit, searched the area for the suspect but he was not located The male is described as being approximately 6 feet tall, 175-210 pounds, wearing a red long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball hat.

Domestic Related Arrests:

1) A 22 year-old male wanted on domestic related incidents was arrested yesterday morning and charged with two counts of Threaten Death or Bodily Harm, one count of Threaten to Damage Property, eight counts of Breach of Probation and one count of Unlawfully in a Dwelling House. The incidents dating back from the 19th of June until the 8th of August involve the accused attending inside the residence of his ex-girlfriend, threatening to kill her, her child and to burn down her home. At the time of the incidents the accused was on probation conditions that he not communicate, molest, harass or annoy her. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

2) A 46 year-old female was arrested on the 10th of August at 8:25 pm at the city police station and charged with one count of Assault. It is alleged that on the 10th of August around 4:30 pm the accused got into a verbal argument with her ex-husband and assaulted him.

3) A 17 year-old male youth was arrested on the 10th of August at 8:30 pm at the city police station and charged with one count of Assault. It is alleged that on the 8th of August while at the Station Mall the accused assaulted a 20 year-old male that he discovered was dating his ex-girlfriend.

Shoplifting Incidents:

1) 18 year-old Tyler Peterson of no fixed address was arrested on the 10th of August at 3:18 pm at the Wal-Mart and charged with one count of Theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on this date he attended at the store just before 3 pm and stole a pair of work boots. He is to attend in bail court today.

2) 30 year-old Jamie Gagne of #2-456 Fourth Line West was arrested on the 14th of September at 3:20 pm at Joe’s No Frills on Korah Road and charged with one count of Theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that she attended at the store just after 3 pm stole some meat products. She is to appear in court on the 14th of September.

Break and Enter Reports:


• A shed in the 300 block of Wellington Street West was entered during the day yesterday. A bike, some Master Craft tools, a gas powered weed wacker and two life jackets were reported stolen.
• A porch area of a residence in the 200 block of North Street was entered – nothing appeared to be taken.
• An apartment in the 200 block of Albert Street East was entered.
• A residence on Grace Street was entered sometime overnight on the 9th of August. A wallet, cash, medication, some meat products were some of the items reported stolen.
• A garage on Palomino Drive was entered and some beer was taken.

Theft Reports:

• A John Deere Trick Bike was stolen on Pozzebon Crescent.
• Bikes were reported stolen on Biggings Avenue and Palomino Drive.
