THREE ARRESTS AT COURTHOUSE 32-year-old Sheri Nolan of 111 St. Georges Avenue East, was arrested on an outstanding warrant yesterday morning at the Sault Ste. Marie Court House. Officers observed Nolan at approximately 11:20 am.
THREE ARRESTS AT COURTHOUSE
32-year-old Sheri Nolan of 111 St. Georges Avenue East, was arrested on an outstanding warrant yesterday morning at the Sault Ste. Marie Court House. Officers observed Nolan at approximately 11:20 am. It is alleged that on March 18 Nolan stole from the SportChek store, 2 coats. Along with the theft charge Miss Nolan is also charged with breach of probation. She is scheduled to appear in court on May 10th.

Shawn Adam Wysynski, age 24 of 59 Old Garden River Road, was arrested on outstanding arrest warrants at the courthouse yesterday. Wysynski had an outstanding charge of Breach of recognizance from a February 16th incident and charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of break in tools and possession of stolen property from a December 29, 2003 incident. Mr. Wysynski will appear in bail court this morning.

Adam Ashley Warren, age 24 of 615 Placid Avenue, was arrested on an outstanding warrant yesterday while he was at the courthouse. Warren is alleged to have missed a March 15th finger print date. Warren is scheduled to appear in court on May 10th.


ALLEGED FRAUD AT ZELLERS
31-year-old Charles Patrick Chrétien of 4-17 Terry Fox Place was arrested and charged with fraud resulting from an incident in the Station Mall Zellers store. Chrétien is alleged to have taken an electric shaver from the store shelf, place it in a Zellers bag and then went to customer service to return the shaver. Mr. Chrétien received a gift card in exchange for the shaver and a short time later was apprehended by store security. A May 10th court date has been set.


ASSAULT WITH BEER BOTTLE
A fight that broke out at 680 Portage Lane just after 1:00 this morning resulted in 2 arrests being made. Shaun David Mearow, age 22 of 2404 Mission Road was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Mearow is alleged to have struck a male victim several times with a broken beer bottle. The victim received deep cuts to the arms, face and shoulder. Mearow will appear in bail court this morning.

Also charged at the same incident is 19-year-old Roland Julien Periard of 327 Cathcart Street. Periard faces charges of obstructing police, breach of probation and breach of recognizance and will also appear in bail court this morning.

While officers were investigating the assault complaint Periard arrived at the party with another male whom he is not to be in the company of.

Officers questioned Periard who is alleged to have identified himself by another name. Officers were soon able to identify Periard and arrested and charged him accordingly.
