A resident in the 200 block of St. Georges Avenue reported that his debit card was stolen and a quantity of money removed from his account.

A resident in the 100 block of Appaloosa Drive reported that between 11:00 last night and 5:00 this morning someone threw pudding on their house windows and broke a window in one of their vehicles.

A property owner in the 500 block of Second Line West reported that a window in a door was broken. It is suspected that a tenant was responsible for the damage. The matter is under investigation.

On April 29, 2013 police apprehended a young person, age 14 on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for finger prints. The young person will appear in court on May 28, 2013 at 09:30am.

On April 30, 2013 at approximately 1:00am officers were called to the area of Peoples Road regarding an intoxicated young person that allegedly assaulted a female at a residence. The young person age 16 was located on Fairview Avenue in an intoxicated state. The young person was transported to the police station and began to spit on everything. The young person was put into the holding cells at which time the young person flooded the cell area. The accused stands charged with mischief and breach of probation and will appear in court on May 28, 2013 at 09:30am.

On April 30, 2013 at approximately 2:30am a male subject turned himself at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service on an outstanding domestic warrant. The domestic occurred on the 23rd of April. It is alleged that the accused age 49 punched the victim in the face causing a black eye. The accused then would not let the victim leave the residence. The accused was on a court order with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and notify change of address. The accused is charged with assault, forcible confinement and breach of a peace bond X 2. The accused will appear in bail court on April 30, 2013 at 10:00am.
