On April 27, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 22-year-old Emily Giovagnoli for impaired driving.
At 6:40 p.m. officers observed a vehicle travelling west on McNabb St. swerving on the road. Officers conducted a traffic stop shortly afterwards on Lake St. Upon approaching the vehicle officers believed the accused’s ability to operate the vehicle was impaired.
The accused failed a Drug Recognition Evaluation. A subsequent search found her to be in possession of a substance believed to be fentanyl.
She is charged with impaired driving and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. She is scheduled to appear in court on July 6, 2020.
