On the September 10, 2015, 24-year-old Jaclyn MacIntyre of Pittsburgh Ave. turned herself in to police regarding an outstanding charge.

On the September 10, 2015, 24-year-old Jaclyn MacIntyre of Pittsburgh Ave. turned herself in to police regarding an outstanding charge. It’s alleged that the accused assaulted and threatened the female victim at the Cambrian mall on the evening of September 9, 2015. The Victim received minor injuries as a result of the assault. MacIntyre was charged with one count of assault and one count of threatening to cause death or bodily harm. She will be appearing in court on October 19, 2015.

Yesterday morning city police attended at the Essar Centre for a break and enter. Sometime overnight the Hound Pound store was broken into. Two IPads with stands were taken. It is unknown at this time if anything else was taken.

City police attended on Birch Street for a break and enter that occurred earlier in the week. At that time an Ipad and charger were taken.

Yesterday two reports were received of thefts from vehicles. They occurred on Pine Street and Harten Street. Items taken include cigarettes, a drivers licence, Nexus cards, a passport and cash.

On September 9, 2015 city police were called to a domestic dispute. It was discovered that a female had been placed on a probation order for a previous domestic incident regarding her former spouse. She was released on strict conditions not to communicate directly or indirectly with her ex. It is alleged she had just gotten out of jail this morning and began attempting to communicate with him again. She was located at another address by the police and will be returning to bail court this morning to answer to the new charges of breaching her probation order x 2.

On September 9 city police responded to a domestic incident in the west end of the city. On arrival, it was discovered a man was on release conditions not to be within 50 meters of his ex-girlfriend, not to communicate with her and not to consume alcohol. The man allegedly decided not to comply with any of those conditions he promised to abide by. He will be appearing in bail court on September 10, 2015 to answer to three breach of recognizance charges.
