ARRESTED ON DRUG & WEAPONS CHARGES
On Tuesday, police officers from the Joint Forces Drug Unit executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant upon the residence on Hillside Drive. Officers subsequently located 168 grams of cannabis marihuana with an approximate street value of $4,200. Officers also located debt lists, scales, cell phones and packaging consistent with trafficking.

Officers found four separate stashes of money with a total value of $3,940. Police also located an unsafely stored .22 calibre lever action Ithica rifle. A set of brass knuckles was also seized. The accused, Justin Jones, age 21 of 68 Hillside Drive, was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Proceeds of Crime and Beach of Probation. He is scheduled to appear in court in early December.
