Man Steals Ambulance
The only arrest entry for bail court this morning is 48 year-old Bruce McAllister of 648 Queen Street East (Rear). He was arrested at 10:30 am on the 28th of November on Hynes Street and charged with one count of theft over $5,000.00, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of willful mischief-endangering life. It is alleged that on the 28th of November at approximately 10:22 am the accused entered an ambulance that was parked unattended in front of the Windsor Park Retirement Residence and stole it. At the time the ambulance paramedics were inside the Windsor Park Retirement Residence tending to a patient in response to a call for a medical emergency. At approximately 10:30 am the ambulance was located parked on Hynes Street by city police with the accused in the driver’s seat and wearing an ambulance paramedic jacket. The accused was arrested at this time.
Shoplifting from Sears
A 17 year-old female youth was arrested on the 28th of November at 8 pm at the Sears Store in the Station Mall and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 28th of November at 6:55 pm the accused attended at the Sears Store and stole JVC headphones valued at $12.99. The accused was apprehended by store security and held for police. She is to appear in court on the 8th of January 2008.
Outstanding Warrant
38 year-old Deborah Marino of 682 Albert Street East was arrested on an outstanding warrant at the court house the 28th of November at 1:35 and charged with one count of failing to appear for prints. It is alleged that the accused failed to appear for fingerprints on the 22nd of October. She is to appear in court on the 7th of January 2008.
One Break & Enter
The only break and enter reported yesterday was to a residence apartment on Borron Avenue. A Panasonic camera, a Sony Lap Top, a Play station 3 receiver and some games were reported stolen.
