On the 5 May 2016, a man turned himself into the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous impaired driving charge. He will be appearing in court on the 6 June 2016 at 9 a.m.

On the 5 May 2016, a man turned himself into the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous impaired driving charge. He will be appearing in court on the 6 June 2016 at 9 a.m. to answer to the new charge.

On the 5 May 2016 a man wanted on a domestic related warrant was located and arrested by the City Police. He will be appearing in bail court.

On the 5 May 2016 patrol officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service were conducting business checks at about 3:30 in the morning. They noticed suspicious activity at a business on Sackville Road and approached a running car. The vehicle sped off and officers managed to get the driver to pull over. Investigation revealed several stolen tools and cut up pieces of stolen copper wire. Police also discovered at least one break-in to a business on that street. A 26-year-old man will be appearing in court on the 6 June 2016 at 9 a.m. to answer to charges of possession of stolen property and break and enter.
