NAKED IN THE CITY
City police had a quiet but interesting night last night. One intoxicated individual was picked up in front of the Algonquin Hotel and taken to the stationhouse.

Other than the fact that the 25-year-old man was stark naked under a blanket he had draped over himself, the only unusual thing about the situation was that the same man had been picked up at the same time and place the night before.

Although police say he was fully clothed on that occasion, he seemed to be more intoxicated the first time. He spent both nights as a guest of the police service.

YOUNG OFFENDER
The only other call last night was to pick up a young offender who had violated his conditions of release.
