Man Turns Himself In
21-year old Robert MacLeod of 129 Queen Street East will appear in bail court this morning. The accused turned himself in yesterday morning on an outstanding warrant for one count of fail to appear in court in relation to charges from November of 2005.
Update On Dennis Street Break In
City Police have arrested two persons in regards to the break and enter that took place on March 6th in the 100 block of Dennis St. A 15-year old youth has been charged with one count of break and enter and commit an offence and will appear in court on April 11th. 20-year old Peter Talbot of 441 Queen Street West has been charged with one count of break and enter and commit an offence and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. He will appear in court on April 10th.
Theft At Sears
Two 16-year old youths were arrested yesterday afternoon and each was charged with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that the youths attended in the jewellery department in Sears and stole two items valued at under $60. The youths were apprehended by store security, turned over to City Police and they will both appear in court on April 11th.
Break And Enter
Between the 5th of March and the 8th of March a home in the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue was entered. Thieves made off with tools and jewellery. If you have any information regarding this crime, contact the City Police at 949-6300 or Crime Stoppers at 942-7867.
