Armed Robbery

At approx. 1:34 am this morning Patrol officer’s were summoned to the Mac’s Convenience Store, 2200 Queen St. East with regards to an armed robbery. A male armed with a knife entered the store and demanded the cash. The male was wearing a toque and had a scarf around his neck and was wearing glasses. The male had long dark hair that was kept in a pony tail. It was also noted the suspect had acne of his face. The male fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.

Bail Court Today

A 15 year old female will appear in bail court today charged with two counts of assault after two staff members at the group home where she resides were attacked. It is alleged she kicked a male staff member in the groin and pushed a female staff member several times. The accused is also on probation and is required to keep the peace and be good has also been charged with 2 counts of breaching that order. These events are alleged to have happened on the 25 March 2009.
