TWO MEN ARRESTED FOR FIGHTING
Yesterday at 2:40 pm on Gore Street, Scott Kenny, age 28 of 15 Abbott Street and co-accused Donald Legault, age 38 of 212 Hudson Street were found to be fighting.

There were several small groups of people watching the fight, and someone originally called the fight into police dispatch. Patrol officers went to the scene and arrested both accused for Causing a Disturbance by Fighting.

Neither party was injured in the fight. They were both charged with the offence and they will appear in court April 28th.


HE SHOULD HAVE KEPT HIS MOUTH SHUT
On Tuesday, Richard Turner, age 32 of no fixed address appeared in bail court on Criminal Harassment and breach of probation charges. An order was made at this time not to communicate directly or indirectly while in custody with several persons including the adult female victim of the original charge.

While exiting the courtroom at 3:05 pm, Turner turned to the back of the courtroom where the victim was seated and stated, "I'll see you, bitch". Police officers arrested and charged the accused for Disobey Court Order at 3:15 pm. He will appear in bail court today.


DISQUALIFIED DRIVER ARRESTED
Yesterday at approximately 3:10 pm, the accused, Greg Boissoneau, age 33 of Boston Avenue was driving a 1988 blue Chevrolet pick-up east on Breton Road.

Patrol officers checked and found him to be a disqualified driver for impaired operation. At 3:30 pm the accused was arrested and charged with Driving While Disqualified. He will appear in court April 28th.


ASSAULT CHARGE
At 1:36 this morning, patrol officers were called to an apartment complex on James Street for an assault complaint.

Officers learned that Greg Ross, age 34 of #5-181 James Street had allegedly assaulted an adult male after they had a disagreement. At approximately 3:00 am, police officers arrested and charge Ross with Assault and Breach of Probation. He will appear in court on April 28th.


BREAK & ENTER
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated two break and enters yesterday. At 6:00 pm. police went to a Coulson Avenue home and where they spoke to the tenant.

He stated that the landlord had a drill that was left behind in the home and was situated at the front door in the entranceway. Sometime between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm an unknown person appeared to have entered the home and took that Black and Decker cordless drill which belonged to the landlord.

Also missing from the entrance was a boot brush valued at $10.00 and a Black and Decker cordless screwdriver valued at $50.00 that belongs to the victim. No sign of forced entry could be found.

A second break-in was reported at approximately 11:00 pm to a home on Wellington Street West near Estelle Street. Both matters are currently under investigation. Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service at 949-6300 or Crime Stoppers.


VEHICLE BREAK-INS
Thieves were busy stealing items from cars yesterday. Between 7:45 am and 8:55 am, police received four calls from citizens in the west end who found that their cars had been entered and items stolen. Police received complaints from victims on Whitney Ave., Third Avenue and two from East Balfour Street

At 6:30 pm. officers received a complaint from a male on Palace Drive that thieves had stolen a truck box full of fishing equipment out of his pick-up. Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service at 949-6300 or Crime Stoppers.
