The following news release was issued by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service:
On June 28, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 26-year-old Kiefer Morbin of Elgin Street in relation to a mischief.
It is alleged that on June 28, the accused engaged in a verbal argument with a person known to him. The argument escalated and the accused began kicking the victim’s vehicle. The accused is alleged to have caused approximately $2,500 worth of damage to the vehicle before leaving the scene.
The accused was soon after located by police and charged with one count of mischief under $5,000. He will appear in court on July 31, 2017.
