Two males arrested for break and enter to appear in bail court

Early this morning officers from the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested two males for break and enter. It is alleged that Henry Cadreau and Colin Wallace used a crowbar to break into a business in the 100 block of Queen St. E. Both accused were located in the area and arrested by the officers. Charged are:
1. Henry Cadreau, age 28, of 441 Queen St. W. Apt 209
2. Colin Wallace, age 19, no fixed address.
Both are charged with one count of break and enter, one count of possession of housebreaking instruments and each was also charged with one count of breach of probation.

Male arrested for possession of prohibited weapon

Yesterday afternoon officers from the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 20-year-old male for possession of a prohibited weapon. It is alleged that while officers were executing a search warrant at the accused man’s residence they located a pair of brass knuckles. It is further alleged that the accused breached an order of prohibition by possessing a prohibited weapon. Charged with one count of possession of a prohibited weapon and one count of possession contrary to order is Michael Leclair, age 19, of 118 West St. Mr. Leclair will be appearing in court on July 19th at 9:00 am.

Female arrested for possession of a substance

Last night at approximately 10:45 pm members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service “Street Team” arrested a 20-year-old female on a charged of possession of a substance. It is alleged that the accused female, while in a motor vehicle on Queen St. E., was smoking a drug (marihuana). Upon arresting the accused officers located approximately 4.1 grams of marihuana on the accused. Dayne Cronin, age 20, of 23 Oak Rd., Blind River, is charged with one count of possession of a substance. She will be appearing in court on July 19th at 9:00 am.

Break and enter

An apartment in the 400 block of Queen St. W. was entered- cash was stolen.

Mischief

Vehicles were damaged in the 100 block of Conmee Ave and the 100 block of Chippewa St.
