The City Police Service has had a relatively quiet twenty-four hour period. Patrol officers were called to an address in the 200 block of Old Garden River Road in response to a report of a bear cub being hit by a car.

Patrol officers were called to an address in the 200 block of Old Garden River Road in response to a report of a bear cub being hit by a car. Officers were required to dispatch the injured cub. The location of the mother is not known. Police remind you that hey should be notified upon the sighting of a large animal within the city.
