Four Youths Arrested for Break and Enter into Queen Street Business: Four Youths, two males and two females, were arrested after allegedly breaking into the Tiny Bubbles Shop on Queen Street East around 1:50 am this morning.
Four Youths Arrested for Break and Enter into Queen Street Business:

Four Youths, two males and two females, were arrested after allegedly breaking into the Tiny Bubbles Shop on Queen Street East around 1:50 am this morning. A witness called police after observing the youths break into the store. Officers located the youths a short distance away and arrested them. They have all been charged with one count of Break, Enter and Commit. One of the female youths, age 15, was further charged with one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime when officers found her in possession of a stolen sweater from the store.

Domestic Related Arrest:

A 24 year-old male was arrested at 1:25 am on the 30th of July after police were called to a downtown residence regarding a domestic disturbance. The accused has been charged with two counts of Assault, one count of Assault with a Weapon, one count of Threaten Death or Bodily Harm, one count of Sexual Assault with a Weapon, one count of Possession of a Weapon for Purpose Dangerous to Public and four counts of Breach of Probation. It is alleged that the accused got into a verbal argument with his girlfriend at the downtown residence of a person known to them and assaulted her physically and sexulally while holding a knife to her. The accused also threatened to kill the victim. The victim attended at hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Officers also discovered that the accused was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a previous assault on the same victim and that he was on probation not to communicate with the victim, to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Female Impaired Driver Arrested:

43 year-old Kimberley Gillespie of #2-196 James Street was arrested on the 29th of July at 9:22 pm on Queen Street West and charged with one count of Impaired Driving and one count of Consume over the Legal Limit. It is alleged that on the 29th of July at 9:11 pm City Police received a call regarding a possible impaired driver in the parking lot area of a downtown restaurant. Officers attended and found the accused inside a 1995 Toyota truck in the lot and at the time she was under the influence of alcohol. She is to appear in court on the 14th of September.

Male Charged with Threatening:

46 year-old Callum Desmoulin of Mobert Ontario was arrested at 4 pm yesterday and charged with one count of Threaten Death or Bodily harm. It is alleged that around 3:26 pm yesterday the accused was on Crawford Avenue when he threatened to kill a male known to him.

Male Charged with Assault.

21 year-old Paul Bouchard of 22 West Braemer Bay was arrested on the 29th of July at 9:56 pm at his residence an charged with one count of Assault. It is alleged that on the 29th of July at approximately 8:30 pm the accused assaulted a male known to him by pushing him down some outside cement stairs while outside a centrally located residence. The victim was not injured. The accused is to appear in court on the 14th of September.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant:

49 year-old Freddie Farrugia of #212-27 Terry Fox Place was arrested on the 29th of July at 9:55 am on Albert Street East on an outstanding theft warrant. He was charged with one count of Theft under $5,000.00. He is to appear in court on the 14th of September.

Property Crimes:

Break and Enter Reports:


• A residence in the 400 block of Case Road was entered sometime between the 28th and 29th of July. It is not known at this time what was taken.
• A Palmer Construction office trailer was entered in the area of Bennett Boulevard and Wellington Street East. An orange can of spray paint was reported taken.

Thefts:

• Bikes were reported stolen from Devon Road, Dauphin Drive and Albert Street West.
