On July 27, 2016 city police were in the downtown area when they noticed a male that was wanted on outstanding warrants. As the officers approached the man, he took off running. A foot pursuit ensued through numerous streets and backyards.

On July 27, 2016 city police were in the downtown area when they noticed a male that was wanted on outstanding warrants. As the officers approached the man, he took off running. A foot pursuit ensued through numerous streets and backyards. Several police units attended the area to assist. The man was caught in the area of Dennis Street and arrested. Charged is Joshua Roess (age 22) of no fixed address. He will be appearing in bail court to answer to the charges of assault with a weapon, mischief, breach of probation, robbery with intent, threatening death and breach of a conditional sentence order.

On July 27, 2016 city police attended at an address in the east end of the city regarding a domestic dispute. On arrival it was discovered an argument had ensued between a male and female. The female forced a door open damaging the frame to the residence. She was arrested and charged with mischief and will be appearing in bail court on July 28, 2016.

On July 27, 2016 city police observed a female who was wanted on outstanding warrants. She was arrested and taken to the City Police Station. She will be appearing in bail court on July 28, 2016. Charged with theft under $5,000, breach of probation and failing to appear in court is Candice Desjardins (age 29).
