On July 25, 2013 at noon hour Detectives arrested and charged 21 year old male for Internet Luring and Touching for a Sexual Purpose. Officers learned that during the last week of June the male made arrangements over the internet with a 14 year old young person to met for a sexual purpose. On June 28th they met and a sexual act was performed. The male will now appear in bail court on July 26th.

On July 25th at 1:55 pm Patrol Officers attended at RJ’s Market at 238 Wellington St. West for a shoplifter. Officers arrested and charged Caterina Ochoa with Theft under $5,000.00. She will appear in court on Sept 9th.

On July 25th at 10:48 am Patrol Officers checked a Ludwik Widlas, age 60 of 47 London St. Their check revealed that he was wanted for Failing to Attend Court. Widlas was arrested and charged on the strength of the arrest warrant. He will now appear in court on August 26th.

On July 25th at 10:00 am Detectives attended the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and arrested and charged a 42 year old male with Breaching a Court Order and Obstructing Justice. Detectives had learned the male was on court imposed conditions not to communicate with a female and he disobeyed these conditions. Further he directed the victim not to attend his court proceedings. He will appear in court on July 26.

A 22 year old female was arrested by City Police early last evening with domestic related offences. It is alleged she assaulted, choked and forcibly confined her partner throughout the course of the afternoon. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court later this morning.

A 43 year old female was arrested last night for Breach of Probation. She was on conditions stemming from a previous domestic incident not to consume alcohol. Officers located her in an intoxicated state and as a result she will be appearing in Provincial court on August 26th.
