FOUR BREAK-INS
City Police investigated four break-ins during the past twenty-four hours. The first entry was at I.C. Mechanical on Dundas Street. There are no further details at this time.

The second break-in was to a building in the 300 block of Cathcart Street. Nothing was taken but some vandalism occurred.

At about 3:25 this morning police responded to an alarm at Bridge Auto on Queen Street West. When police arrived they found the front door ajar. It appears the thieves, who entered by breaking a rear office window, were scared off by the alarm and left via the front door. Nothing was reported stolen.

A fourth break-in was reported at an apartment in the 300 block of Albert Street East. Police subsequently arrested James Stein, age 20, of no fixed address and charged him with break and enter. He will appear in court on August 19 at 9:00 a.m.

BEAR SIGHTINGS
