On the 14 January 2016 at about 2:30 a.m. police were notified of a suspicious vehicle in the Armories parking lot on Pine St. On arrival, police discovered a male that was asleep behind the wheel of the vehicle. The pick-up truck was still in drive when police found the man. He was arrested for care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Charged is Aron Byers (age 42). He will be appearing in court on the 22 February 2016 at 9 a.m. to answer to the charge.
Sometime on January 13 unknown culprits broke into a residence on Queen Street East. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. Taken was an x-box, games and cash.
