13 COUNTS A 33- year-old Sault Ste Marie man will appear in bail court this morning after he was involved in 2 separate domestic disputes with the same complainant.

A 33- year-old Sault Ste Marie man will appear in bail court this morning after he was involved in 2 separate domestic disputes with the same complainant. The accused is alleged to have broken into the residence of the complainant on 2 occasions and committed an assault.

The accused is facing 2 counts of break and enter, 1 count of assault, 1 count of assault causing bodily harm, 6 counts of breach of probation and 3 counts of breach of recognizance.

TURNS SELF IN

A 45 year-old local man will appear in bail court this morning on charges of criminal harassment and threatening. The accused is alleged to have repeatedly called the victim since the summer of last year, leaving phone messages and sending letters and threatened to burn down the property of the victim. The accused turned himself in to police last night.

YOUNG OFFENDER

A young offender will appear in bail court this morning and faces 2 charges of threatening to cause death or bodily harm, 1 charge of breach of probation and 1 charge of breach of recognizance. The young person is alleged to have called the victim several times in January of this year and made the threats. The young person was on court orders to keep the peace and be of good behavior.

DOMESTIC DISPUTES

Bail Court will also see a 35 year-old man today after a domestic dispute early this morning. The accused is alleged to have grabbed and pushed his victim onto a loveseat and then held the victim’s face into the cushions. The accused faces 1 charge of assault.

A domestic dispute early this morning ended up with a 50 year-old man being arrested and charged with threatening to cause death. The man threatened the victim with death numerous times while in the residence that they shared. The accused will appear in court on March 22nd.

MINOR DAMAGE TO VEHICLES


A motor vehicle accident at 2:45 pm. yesterday had one driver charged and both vehicles receiving minor damage. Nancy Chow, age 44 was attempting to make a left turn from a parking lot onto Boundary Road and while doing so was struck by a vehicle that was north bound on Boundary Rd.. William Garson, age 57 was the driver of the pick up truck that hit the Chow vehicle. Ms. Chow was charged with failing to yield from a private driveway
