Male Charged with Failure to Yield

City police would like to remind motorists to adjust their driving habits according to weather conditions. Yesterday 11 motor vehicle collisions were reported to police. One accident resulted in minor injuries. In that accident it is alleged that the driver of an east bound vehicle traveling on Chambers Avenue failed to yield to traffic traveling south bound on Dacey Road. As a result the vehicle traveling on Chambers Avenue struck a vehicle traveling on Dacey Road. A passenger in the vehicle coming from Chambers Avenue received minor injuries. 30yr old William Johnston of Toronto has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with 1 count of failing to yield to traffic on through highway.


Youth Charged with Breach of Probation

A 15yr old youth will appear in bail court this morning. The youth was on probation with a curfew of 10pm and had been gone from their residence since the 27th of December. Police located the youth at a residence in the downtown area. The youth has been charged with 1 count of breach of probation order.
