One person to appear in bail court Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 41-year-old male for threatening and breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused threatened to kill his common-law partner.

One person to appear in bail court

Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 41-year-old male for threatening and breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused threatened to kill his common-law partner. At the time of this offence the accused was on a probation order release with conditions to not molest, harass or annoy the victim. The accused is charged with one count of threatening and one count of breach of probation.

Break and enter

City police were called to an address in the 1500 block of Queen St. E. yesterday in regards to an attempted break and enter. Suspect(s) did not gain entry and nothing appears to have been taken.

Robbery

This morning at approximately 5:55 am city police were called to the Mac’s Mart Store, 187 Gore St., for a robbery. In the incident a lone young male entered the store, produced a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk did not give the suspect any money and chased him out of the store. Suspect is described as:

Male, white, 14 years of age, 5’4” tall, slim build. Wearing a red jacket and had a scarf around his face. The suspect was last seen running west on Cathcart St.

Theft

Money was stolen from a vehicle parked in the in the 300 block of Patrick St.

Personal belongings were stolen from a men’s locker at the Y.M.C.A yesterday afternoon.
